Working Families Party? Try: the Working Lawyers Party.

Turns out, the scandals roiling the far-left political outfit are becoming a veritable jobs program for some of the priciest sharks in the city.

If only actual working families could get a piece of the action.

But then, given the ethical and legal hole the party has dug for itself, a high-profile whitewash could come in handy.

The WFP announced Friday that it has retained former state Chief Judge Judith Kaye — now with white-shoe Manhattan law firm Skadden Arps — to conduct an internal “review” of Data & Field Services, the party’s shady for-profit arm.

Kaye, indeed, is the ideal choice to run a see-no-evil probe: She presided over an entire bench whose decision-making seemed informed by little more than personal feeling (witness the judges’ absurd move to sue lawmakers for pay hikes).

Any honest accounting of DFS activities, of course, could put a serious damper on the WFP’s agenda. The party, after all, is the creation of Big Labor and its pals at ACORN for the sole purpose of advancing their interests.

And DFS, which hides its receipts and expenditures behind a wall of corporate secrecy, looks deliberately designed to mask the flow of illegal cash from unions to favored candidates.

An explosive new lawsuit alleges just that: Former Deputy Mayor Randy Mastro, representing a group of Staten Island voters, says DFS grossly undercharged now-Councilwoman-elect Debi Rose for its services — rendering, in effect, an under-the-table political donation.

Amazingly, when pressed for documents, the Rose campaign clammed up — invoking its Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination.

No doubt, a real probe of the WFP and DFS would yield all sorts of fascinating tidbits. Don’t expect Kaye to find them.
